Sehr schöne Lage, nah am Meer, schöner Pool. Alle Räume sind klimatisiert, Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine erleichtern den Aufenthalt.

Nice location 100m from pebble beach and sea. Nice pool and garden. Good restaurant/bar next door. Functional space with good main bedroom and two small shower rooms. Walking distance to Gennadi (restaurants, supermarket, bakery). Flexibility on check in (to drop bags early was appreciated). The main drawback for us was the wifi - we were there to 'work-from-home' for a week, but the unreliable wifi made this impossible. Would not effect most people - though same issue if you have kids wanting to get online.

Every year my wife do rent a villa in south Europe and this year it was White House 1 in Gennadi on Rhodes. We had big expectation for that. We have seen places better and cheaper. This time we paid for a sand beach (as it was announced) and sea view. We rented it from 16.08.2020 until 30.08.2020.

But inside most things were old and worn, kitchen things were like filled with fat so it was necessary to put all things in dishwasher before use, refrigerator and freezer was very dirty, refrigerator inside was with about 3 cm ice, so it was long time since it has been defrosted. Toilet floor was not clean.

Bedroom was OK with clean bed lines.

WiFi in the house did almost not work. There was standing that there was very many TV channels, but there was only few.

Pool was old and the edge was full from algae, but water was clean. It was difficult to say when you could start to use the pool because the gardener came different time at days to clean the filter.

The beach was absolute not good totally rubbish, no sand but stones and big pieces of concrete, so it was almost impossible to go into water.

In White House 2 live the owner and his family. It was like a big Holliday park for family, friends and young people all the time with loud talk and music. So absolute not a peaceful place to be.

At paper was standing that dogs was not allowed and therefore we also selected the house because my wife are allergic for pets. But the owner had a dog in house 2 and one day it run barking to us.

So not good to rent these houses if you are allergic for dogs.

There is no much privacy. People were jumping over the fence between houses because it was easier for them to go to the garage where they often went. The place between pool, garden furniture and terrace is a common parking and laundry place. We have never been alone.

The place next to house is filled with garden waste. Every morning there was rat shit on our terrace. One day we saw a rat jumping into a tree and I called the owners son. He was looking at me like I was crazy. But he and his friends found the rat in the tree and throw a stone after it and it run away. They meant, that problem have been solved. After that I saw more rats coming and going, but no one showed interest in it.

The house was paid with cleaning and changing towels and bed linen. After 10 days the women came and asked us if we would like to change towels. And of course we would love that. She did change them and nothing else happened. No cleaning, not changing of bed linen, so we took the bed linen from the bedroom nr.2 and did change them.

So as you people can see it is absolute not a place we can recommend.

Das Haus mit eigenem Pool und Garten hat uns gut gefallen. Wir waren 1,5 Wochen im Oktober in der Anlage die einzigen Gäste, hatten daduch natürlich alle Freiheiten. Der Hausmeister war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hielt sich stets im Hintergrund. Kaffeemaschine sehr sehr langsam (40min für 4 Becher). Spülmaschine wollte nicht immer sofort, brauchte 2-4 Anläufe bis sie den Spülvorgang tatsächlich ausführte.

Das große Manko war aber der "Kies-Strand". Er ist zwar nur 70m entfernt, ist aber am oberen Rand vollgelegt mit großen Steinplatten, über die man steigen muss, um ans Meer zu gelangen - nicht ganz ungefährlich (warum hat die Gemeinde das gemacht ???).

Sehr nettes Haus. Guter Service. Ruhig aber nicht abgeschieden gelegen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Sehr schön, ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt. Die beiden guten Seelen der Anlage sind täglich vor Ort und helfen diskret bei allfälligen Fragen.

Im Dorf ist alles was man braucht erhältlich. Die Strandrestaurants in Gennadi sind alle sehr empfehlenswert. In allen haben wir sehr fein gegessen.

Das nahegelegene Meer war auch super schön. Man ist praktisch alleine am Strand.

Diese Haus ist für alle geeignet, die einen schönen Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus machen möchten und Ruhe und Erholung suchen.

Jeden Euro wert. Top-Zustand: sehr gut gepflegt und ausgestattet. Alles so angetroffen wie beschrieben. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig.
